I am an almost 38 year mother of two. My daughter is 14 and my son is 9. Until I had my kids I never weighed more than 100lbs. I gained 62lbs when pregnant with my daughter but was able to lose most of it on weight watchers over a 2yr period. I went down to about 118lbs (could not lose the last 20lbs no matter what I tried but my body had changed so that was okay). Same after I had my son. So I've managed to stay at less than 125 for the last 8yrs....until this year when I decided to quit smoking!! I know quitting was the right thing to do, I just think I quit at the wrong time because just before I quit I had torn the meniscus in my left knee. So quitting smoking at a time when I wasn't able to exercise or barely walk some days was a very bad idea. So my lungs are healthier but I have gained 25lbs!!! I have never weighed 150LBS unless I was pregnant (which I am not).
I am starting to really hate how I look and feel so I've decided I have to take serious action. I just need someone to keep be motived and push me. Did I mention I am only 4' 11.5" - so 25 xtra pounds on me is very noticeable!! I'm hoping Fat Secret can help.
