Hi everyone! Most of the bios that I've read, people have said they were really active in high school and college. Well I'm going to be brutally honest...I was not active in high school or college. Unless running from one frat party to another counts as actually running... I was always, however, blessed with being able to stay in shape. At times I would gain a few pounds and all I had to do was watch what I ate for a few weeks and the weight would come off. Well all that changed when my daughter was born. I now find myself unable to lose the weight by just eating healthy...sounds like it's time to put some sweat into it!
According to the experts my ideal weight is 120-125. I've been 120 and I looked too thin so I set my goal weight at 130.
I have a few mini goals that I would like to accomplish along the way. I'll update these as I complete them and add more so I don't get bored!
1. Run a 5K race - signed up for one that is June 11th! I'm really serious about training for this...my grandma is coming to watch me run!!
2. Run a 10K race - signed up for one that is October 8th! My grandma isn't coming to this one but it's still important...
3. Play with my 2 year old at the park and let her/time/weather decided when we leave, not me because I'm worn out.
4. Lose 5 lbs by Easter. There I put a number down... I know some people say that you shouldn't do it but I think I need the motivation!
5. Stick to my diet and exercise plan for the entire month of April...I will reward myself for doing this...I'm just not sure what my reward will be (possibly a York Peppermint Patty).
