We welcomed a beautiful little boy into our family in February. He is so wonderful and all of his big siblings are just so fond of him. I gained less this pregnancy then I have with all the rest, but also started at my heaviest. So ended pretty close to the same. With my first 4 pregnancies I lost quite a bit like 15 pounds right away without trying. These last 2 have been different. Maybe it is age, or my bodies changes. I left the hospital weighing only 4 pounds less then when I went in, after having a 7 lb baby that just doesn't seem to add up fairly ;-). But it is what it is, and it's what I have to work with. I have lost a few pounds since then, weighing in at 204. So only 3 pounds in 3 months. Its hard not to be disappointed about that. I am hoping that changes soon here. I have been being more thoughtful about eating, and moving more now that I can be outside more often, we have been taking daily walks. So hopefully this weight will start to come off soon!

I know this looks like a huge gain, but since I haven't tracked since the beginning of my pregnancy that's to be expected. Startedregnancy at 187 my highest with any pregnancy, but am ending it close to the same as with most of my others, so I am not disappointed. Been trying to avoid the mindset of eating whatever I want because I'm pregnant and trying to listen to my body. I lost 7 pounds in the beginning of the pregnancy and have gained 26 since then, or 19 if you count my original weight. I am quite glad of it. Ive never gained less then 35 and my highest gain was closer to 70 lbs. I really can't take the credit, I haven't done anything, haven't dieted, haven't cut back or tried much, but I do believe the Lord has changed my heart regarding food. I don't find foods forbiden but also don't over indulge in treats and often find myself saying no because it's really not what I want. I do eat mostly healthy foods because it's what's best for me and the family. My goal is to stay under 210 and I will end this pregnancy the lightest out of my 6, I will be thrilled. Only a few weeks left, should be seeing a baby in the next 3-6 weeks. Can't wait!

I am surprised to still be losing weight. I am 15 weeks now, I started this pregnancy at my highest pre pregnancy weight by 7 lbs, but just looked up my weight history and now am only 3 lbs more than I was with my last at 15 weeks. That is a pleasant surprise. Despite the fact that I havent lost much weight fast this past year, my relationship with food has entirely changed. Over eating is not appealing. I think I even enjoy food more, there isnt the guilt associated with eating looming constantly over me. It still creeps up from time to time, but its not an ever present feeling. I think this has helped me not jump into the eating for 2 mindset, which may be the cause of my weightloss. Either way, I am very pleased. I was worried that with starting so much heavier that I would be huge by the time this baby is born! I pray that I am able to keep it to a healthy gain.
