I am a happily married mom of two boys, 8 and 3. I teach middle school math in a medium sized district. I have struggled with my weight since I was a teenager. I was athletic in high school and then when to college and did NOTHING. Year after year I have just gained more and more weight...after having my second son in 207 I topped off at 255 lbs. I needed to do something, so in 2009 I started doing taekwondo and following the south beach diet. I had success, I got down to 199... in about April of 2009 but that is as far as I could go. I don't know what happened I stopped following south beach so strictly and then next thing I know I'm back up to 225 lbs. Which is where I was at the end of June 2010. I started to exercise, doing the Insanity program, and writing down what I ate. It is now August, almost September, I did lose 10 lbs, but it is coming off sooooo slowly... I had done weight watchers about 8 years ago I did have some success with that, so now I am going to try that again.
