I am married with two boys ages 9 and 10 months. About 2 and a half years ago I began gaining weight and within a year I had put on 30+ lbs. I am 34 now and HAD been a size 6-8 give or take my whole adult life. I attribute the weight gain largely to a change in lifestyle (I started staying at home) due to a medical condition that has left me unable to work. The medication I have to take can also cause weight gain. Between the two, I now have a big problem. To complicate matters, I became pregnant in early 2007. I gained A LOT of weight on top of what I had already gained. When it was all said and done, I topped the scale before delivery at 245! I am down to 198 and still have 50-60 to go. I have been losing about a lb. a week on WW for the last 11 weeks. It is so hard! But I am determined to be healthier for my husband and children and get back in to the closet full of clothes I have accumulated over the years! Stretchy pants be gone, unless I am working out!
