I am a 28 ( this summer) year old woman with a wonderful husband and 2 beautiful boys. My boys are 6 and 3. I packed on a hundred pounds since having my children. I can never fully get the baby weight off. I have managed to lose 35 pounds over a year, but I want to lose another 40 to 60 before the summer. I am doing my own diet with calorie counting. I am trying to make a complete lifestyle change and this would be my first big step. I am looking for people just like me to share their advice, recipes, and support with me. Lol. It's the same with my husband. He loves to make eggs and hash-browns for breakfast or hamburgers and fries for dinner!!! They are sooo good, but sooo starchy and full of carbs. I agree with you!! I hate being fat and I want to be healthy for my children.

Started Yesterday and needing buddies and Support
I just sent you a request. I'm not turning 40, but I too am at my largest weight and I have 60 to 70 pounds to lose. I am not doing the atkins diet, but I am cutting out a lot of carbs. I eat a lot of bread, pasta, and rice so that needs to change. Hopefully we can help each other out with the motivation!!
