Hi, My name is Kendahl and I have been over weight most of my adult life. I have a hard time with snacking and making the right choices with food. Growing up we always used food as a reward, and it was always there for comfort. Now being a parent to a beautiful little 2 year old, I need to get my life back. I want to teach her how to eat, and not have the same struggles as I did.I am doing low-crab, because, I have had great success with it, and know how my body feels when I eat this way. I would love to find people with similar goals!!

Down 2 lbs so far this week and thats 22 total in 5 weeks! Feeling better than ever and really trying to stay active. What kind of exercise are people doing? I have been doing water aerobics a few days a week and walking. Need some ideas so I don't get bored because I know its important. Also, this weekend I need to stay away for low-carb beer as sometimes i can't help myself after a long work week!

I am 26 and my BMI is 37 I started Atkins about 5 weeks ago. I was diagnosed with Graves an over active thyroid condition in December 2010. The past year I lost quite a bit of weight due to my condition and now that it has been corrected with surgery and my thyroid replacement medication I put on 20 after the surgery, so I read up on Atkins and hear I am! I like it so far but it’s had when I have little time to prepared meals with my work schedule and my boyfriend wants no part of the diet (he never gains a pound) so I do have tempting food in the house, but haven’t cracked! I would love support of others doing the same.
