Current Weight

Performance: losing 0.8 lb a week

Goal Weight
154.0 lb
Still to go: 26.0 lb
I decided to update this bit, my last biography has been on here for quite some time. I still like to grow my own vegetables and soft fruit- this is my exercise and my healthy eating. I lose some pounds and then put them back on again, but I still weigh alot less than I did 3 years ago and that's what counts. I don't want to be stick thin, I've always been a curvy girl but would like to get rid of maybe around 8-9lbs more, but my wobbly bits lurve me it's hard to get rid of them. Anyway, recently I started a branch of the Women's Institute in my village and became it's Secretary, I like arranging the speakers and events we will have, so this should also keep me out of trouble. Thankyou everyone who comments and gives me encouragement on here- it's much appreciated.

Need Support
I watch the Biggest Loser and look at how great they look as the weesk progress. I weigh myself first thing in the morning a couple of times a week, and also measure my waist and hips, and record it in a little note book that only I can look at. I also go out when the weather is good, we've had quite alot of rainy days and now it's snowing so I am getting on my step machine when the adverts are on tv. Keep your food diary on here too, if I don't I don't lose as much weight. Good luck!

any ideas
Try to do something which gets you out of breath, walking several miles a day is good. Just get off the bus a couple of stops from your usual one, use the stairs instead of the lift. Keep a food diary and write everything down. Fill empty yoghurt pots with sugar free jelly and if you get the nibbles have one of these. Phone a friend. Hoping to see less of you.

What's your Danger Food?

Visiting the US- advice please!
I am thinking about coming to the US for a visit in a while. My plan is to start in New York, go to Florida by Amtrak stopping of at places on the way, then to see a friend in New Mexico, onto Monument Valley, then Las Vegas, to see a friend in California and finally San Francisco, I am spending my children's inheritance! At the moment it is just into the planning stages and I keep adding things to it. The latest is to see a basketball game or a football game, I know nothing about either and would appreciate some advice about going to watch a game. Also any advice that anyone thinks I might need for visiting places. Thankyou very much to anyone who takes the trouble to reply.

Not new, but newly back and needing some weight loss buddies!
Wow, a single Mum of 5- you're certainly brave, I couldn't cope with all of that. I'm here at the end of this if ever you want to have a rant about something! Enjoy your dinner out on Sunday, forget about the diet, weigh yourself 1st thing Monday before your little treasures get up and then start. Good luck.
