Hello everyone my name is Kathia but everyone calls me Kathy I'm 48 and have been on an on going battle with my weight .....It seems to always win but I have tried and tried and as long as I can I will keep battling an one day I will win the battle of the pounds and win the war of the scale ....I guess you have to start with loving yourself and I'm trying to win that war but it's one step at a time and I hope to find some friends here that are willing to help walk this walk with me

Does the scale weight really reflect one's progess in the weight loss journey?
I don't post much on here but this article hits home for me .......I do the same thing I will do well and feel great get on the scale and it's all shot even if it's 1/2 an oz lets not even talk about lbs ....and then I go on the monster eating binge because I gained a little after that I gain a few lbs then I'm mad disgusted with myself and then the head game starts the feeling unable unworthy or just have no willpower mind you I could have lost 50 lbs but just because I gained 1 I feel like a big looser ...so I get it and understand it but it's very hard to deal with it specially if you are addicted to the scale like a drug ...I have been doing a bit better and try and thats a very hard try not to weigh in daily ....

hello I'm back

well today I started back I have gained back all the weight I had lost and add an extra 5 lbs. but I seem to be more mentally ready for it this time and also have got my menu and food together so I'm hopping for the best I still have to cook for the hubby and my 4 1/2 yr old but the good part is that she loves salads Laughing hope everyone happy life changes

Calling all sugar addicts!
I hear all of you I'm addicted to sugar in a bad way I hope to get back to the point that i dont crave it as much when i was on atkins the first few days I did crave it but after it was not as bad but i went back to my old ways of eating and gained the weight back but this time im goin to cold turkey wish me luck ....and good luck to everyone here

ANGIE I love the fact that your my FS Stalker because of that I'm doing better so thank you very much ....

@BBD5 I'm the same way if the food is here all I do is think of it ( when can I eat it ..I have to have it ..Oh my god give it to me ...how sad my mind sounds like its addicted to drugs) .....and yes my stomach was very upset it took two days I'm feeling alot better today and I'm sticking to Atkins....
