Been struggling with weight since I was a child. Lost a lot of weight when I was 16 (dropped from 130 kg to 90), but got injured and hovered around the 90 to 100 kg mark for years. Now at 29, I started getting serious about following a whole foods plant-based diet, and have not been regretting it.

Weight Loss - Fitness
I'd also advise trying to get into lifting weights. Cardio usually burns more calories in the short term, but building more muscle is the better long term investment.

I'd say "get a trainer", but there are so many bad ones out there. Nothing really beats doing your own research. A program I think is good for everyone just starting out (except maybe those with a history of major injuries), is "Starting Strength". The diet advise is rubbish, but the biomechanical explanations of exercises and the workout plan is good.

How much CARB per day?
Want to lose weight? Eat as much carbs as you like if it fits into your calories and you still get 0.8g protein/kg body weight.

percentages don;t add up in the app
The percentage is not based on weight, but on calories. Fat has more calories for the same weight.

Got to get serious
You might want to try and weigh all things you eat to count calories more accurately. 1200 a day is really low, I think you might be underestimating some of what you're eating.

Help......cravings...
Having a day a week where you allow yourself one of these treats might help. That's what I did with pizza. I was extra strict the other 6 days of the week to account for the extra calories, but knowing I could have pizza on Friday always helped me stick to my plan.
