I am currently finishing up school in athens ohio. my activity level has continually fallen since i started college and with that, I have seen an increase in my weight.

When i started at OU, i was about 115 lbs. After five years, my current weight is 140. It not at all that I think I am fat or overweight, but for my 5'4 frame I am afraid if I dont start changing something now that I am only going to continue my current trend of putting on 5-7 lbs a year. I am 23 and don't want to have to battle with the same weight issues all the women in my family have gone through. My family has a history of hypothyroidism and gain weight extremely easy and can not shed the weight no matter what diets they try.

My biggest problem is that I love to cook and I really love to eat. Who doesn't? Haha if we didn't, none of us would be on here! But i tend to over eat when I am stressed. So i want to start exercising more and trying to portion out the food i cook. Also working on drinking more water and less coffee. I dont really drink a lot of pop but (good) coffee is one of my weaknesses.

So this is the start of my journey to getting back into the shape a 23 year old woman should be in. and loving my body again :)
