eating is hard
i'm 59, a decade post a stroke that ended 25 years of medical transcription, and I consume maybe 1200 kcal/day: one waffle and strip of bacon for breakfast with water since partner hasn't gone to the store yet. we walk four miles before breakfast as they are an avid birder. My dinner is always a PBJ and a handful of fruit and my one glass of milk, and then we bathe and have date night. I also decline to participate in the money-grab that is American health care. I suppose if some asshole ran into my walker while we're out, as often happens {I'm tiny and people never see me}, medicare would grudgingly pay for some quick patchup, but i'd be out of thre so fast.

exercise is bttter than obsessing about calories.
Nothing better than a good four-mile walk to go birding before an ample breakfast of one TJs waffle and half a trip of bacon and a huge glass of water. Exercise beats obsessing about food.

why?
why go to this much effort? Just quit obsessing about food and focus on exercise instead. I'm 59, a decade post-stroke and I eat maybe 1200/kcal/day and walk at least 10 miles a week.

I consume about 1200 kcal/day and walk about 10 miles a eek. Do I search for and document what I eat?

how many kcal/day does one need?
I've been eating about 1200 max most days and walking four miles to go birding the days partner doesn't work.
