Hi, my name is Jenny. I am a chemical engineer who stays home with her two lovely daughters in Iowa.
I was quite active before having children and didn't worry about my weight. Had my first daughter and put on a few pounds. Had lost all but the last ten when I got pregnant with my second daughter. Gained an extra 20 lbs with my second daughter and never took the time or effort to lose it. My youngest daughter just turned 4 and I'm now 50 lbs over where I was when she was born! (Can't call that baby weight...) Am committed to being more active and watching what I eat so I can keep up with my two fire-crackers.
I have 2 big challenges. The first is finding time to excercise in between extra-curricular activities and caring for the girls. The second is that my husband travels a lot, and when he's out of town, I tend to late-night snack, snack, snack (and we're not talking celery sticks...). I'm trying to face both of these challenges face-on...
