I am an advertising sales executive. 54 years old . I live in Central Ontario in Canada. My job entails a lot of driving and busy days. For the longest time I felt justified in not eating all day, and then around 3:00 p.m. when hunger struck I thought it was okay to pig out at McDonald's or any other fast food place because I hadn't eaten all day. That is why I now am looking at almost 200 lbs. I am really motivated to get started.

Curves for me
I like Curves. In and out in 30 or so minutes. They are open at 6:30 a.m. and it's not a fashion show. I practically crawl out of bed go do my routine come home have a shower and breakfast and I'm done with it. I am not motivated enough (at least right now) to think about an excercise program. This one does it for me!

Gazelle
Sorry to hear all of the negative comments about Curves. I have just joined on the advice of three friend who all look fabulous since they joined. The thing that I like about it, yes I admit it I hate excercising. I think it is all boring. But in and out in 40 mins including stretching, motivates me particularly on those mornings when I don't feel like. As for the boredom I can handle boredom for 40 mins 3 times a week. Wish me luck!

Loose saggy skin?
Lots of water, it seems to be the cure for everything when you are dieting. But I also read that cinnamon is good in helping skin elasticity when losing weight.

Question: Yogurt
I have three South Beach Diet books. All three say that you can have dairy products. They all suggest that you use either low fat or fat free yogurt in moderation. I have a 1/4 cup serving every day. The Astro No fat with a sweetner is good!
