GYM?!?!?!?!?!?!
Hey JBL12,
I would recommend starting with some wholebody circuit exercises to the the body used to the idea that it is required to exercise!
You will feel sore for the first week or so but push through it. Even elite athletes get sore from new workouts.
Aside from the weight stations consider some body weight exercises like,
Pushups
Air squats
pull ups
crunches
Burpees.. etc.
Hope your workout journey goes well!
All the best!

Desk work / Long hours
As CruithneJenkins mentioned, HIIT sounds like the way to go.
I am the same way spending most of the day and night in front of the desk.
Try doing it during lunch if you have access into the gym?
Otherwise would you be able to get up earlier or go to bed later by 20 or so minutes so you can fit the exercise in? I fit it in after a 10 min morning meditation.
A healthy, sustainable diet and ample sleep will be extremely beneficial especially if you are sitting at the desk all day.
All the best!

Working in exercise when you work 2 jobs
Hey Katy,
I think the main issue at the moment is your very intense schedule.. Any chance of you getting a more permanent full time status at one of your jobs or another job?
That would help you free up sometime to get the rest you really need.
(i think rest is more important than exercise at the moment. The weight gain is prob triggered by the lack of sleep.)

95% of people who lose it, gain it back!
Agree with Abracadabra.
Choose a healthy life style instead of a temporary fix!

When is a good time to start a healthy lifestyle?
Start now.
There is no better time than the present to start anything.
Perhaps try telling yourself this each time your OCD wants you to put of starting a good habit. "It won't hurt to trial it now so i know if i like it by Monday or whatever day it is telling you."
I used a similar technique to trick myself into running quite a bit further once. I told myself, we will run to the firs post box.. then wehn I get there I said, hah, I meant that first post box... and kept repeating till i ran 15 miles in a day. haha.
Also try meditation and positive affirmation. It would be worth a shot
