RDI Up or Down
I've already started modifying my cardio time to do different goals. I'm adding more treadmill time, to work up my distance. I had a bad experience over the summer when I was trying to go too far too soon, and messed up my knees for most of a month. I have been trying to up the protein in my food, and have been very aware of it. I will work to add more, since this makes sense.

I've managed to lose most of 70 pounds with just calorie restriction and exercise. I am figuring I need to get things a little more tailored now to keep the results coming.

RDI Up or Down
No, I mix it up. Monday is treadmill/eliptical, Tuesday is weight training, Wed is treadmill/eliptical, Thurs is Body Combat, Fri is swimming. I try to not do the same thing all the time, and to not run on the treadmill more than 2 times a week, to not kill my knees.

RDI Up or Down
That's the idea I was coming too. My goal for now is another 30+ pounds, so I don't want to short change myself by causing my body to think I'm starving it, and sabotage my efforts.

RDI Up or Down
I have a question for the community:

I am 5' 10", and 280ish pounds. I have been on fat secret for a while, and have lost a good amount of weight, but seem to be stuck. Along the way, I've noticed a few things. When I am going hard corps, I am in the gym for at least an hour 5 times a week, doing different things. My calories are also under 2000, usually around 1600-1800. Here is my observation about myself. Regardless of my exercise, when I "slack off" for a time, and my calories go up to 2100-2200 or so, I feel better, and seem to shed a few pounds.

So here's the question. Fatsecret says I should be at about in the mid 2000's for calories to lose 1 pound a week, while being sedentary. With my exercise, it says I should be around 3000! I am thinking of upping my RDI from the 2000 I have now to about 2300-2500 to see how things go. Any thoughts?

For more info, I try to aim for -3000 on my diet calendar every day. With this, I will be adjusting my goal to -2000 for the day.

Weight wierdness
The muscles are sore, so we'll go with that theory. I will push through, and see what happens. I'm encouraged to see my time go down. I've shaved 6 minutes off of my 5k time in just 3-4 weeks, with only the hard corps training happening the last two and a half. Next goal is 45 minutes. Maybe next week. This heat isn't helping things, either, in the running dept. Car thermometer said over 100 yesterday on the way home from work, which was why I waited until 8PM to run.
