Not much to say.. I'm a hospice/homecare RN, mother of 2 (oldest is a teenager...AUGH!!). Up until 5 years ago, I weighed about 105 and wore a size 0. Never had any problems with my weight and could eat anything under the sun. Then 35 came... and with it I went up to 160 at my highest. Got depressed about my weight but basically did nothing about it until I went to try on bathing suits. I've tried the abs diet, but that didn't work for me.
2/21/11---It's been several years since I stopped logging in here, and I'm now starting back on a low carb, low fat diet, and starting an exercise program called TurboFire.

measurements:
7/01 7/19
waist 27.5 27.5
hips 38.75 37.75
thigh 22.5 20.5

want to drop at least 2 inches off the hips by August 15th.

Thanks for the advise. I know basically how WW works; saw my mom and sister doing it for over 3 years. We ALL ate the veggie soup at least 3-4 times a week!!! But I appreciate the support and the offer of help. I may take you up on it soon!

How do you figure out how many points you're allowed per day? I have a couple of books coming from Amazon, but they're not here yet and I'm hoping I'm not eating too much. Yesterday was 20 points, today I'm at 12 so far, but havent' entered my dinner yet. Anyplace here on line where you can estimate? Thanks!

Feeling defeated with my measurements and progress
Way to go! I love Chinese too. It's been one of the hardest cravings to ignore.
