I simply could not stand not doing anything anymore, so I did the Jillian Michaels workout challenge. It went better than expected; I only had a bit of a cough toward the end of the workout.
I'm also going on a nice, long walk with friends this evening. Finally out of the house for a bit.

I do not enjoy sitting around and "resting." It's never something I considered fun, or even relaxing. I also do not enjoy attempting to jump on the bed with my child and having a coughing fit. I've been at home with the munchkin all day because we've both fallen under the weather. It's driving me quite mad.
Also, I'm finding it extremely difficult to adjust my diet to a less active lifestyle. It's impossible, really. I've become addicted to chewy ginger candies; they're utterly delicious.
Gah, I hope this cough/congestion subsides quickly. I do not have the patience for it.

Dear cough,
I do not have the time for your visit. I have a fundraiser to model for on Saturday, a picnic to go to with the munchkin on Sunday, and a new training regime that begins on Monday.
If you could kindly go away and come back at a more convenient time, that would be great.

So, I successfully completed the Focus T25 workout that I began in January without having missed a day. I've decided to take a break this week and begin the P90X workout routine on Monday. In the meantime, I'm going to be lazy because, well, I've fallen a bit ill, too. On to the next round (on Monday).
