Getting back on the wagon? (Post Vacation/ Honeymoon)
Hey all!

I fell off the wagon last month after landing a new job, getting married (yay!) and honeymooning. It's lots of very positive change in my life, but needless to say my weightloss halted as a result.

Now that I'm back, I'm having a hard time staying on track. Before, I was very diligent in my eating and calorie counting and exercise. Now, I feel hungrier than usual, I forget to exercise or count calories and I eat before I think!

Do you have any advice to get back on track?

HELP!!!!!! NOT LOSING
I would agree with your calorie count being too high. You might also be overestimating your burn (like I was).

We're actually in the same weight/goal/slow progress boat! Wanna be buddies? (Trying not to sound creepy.)

Sloooow progress.
Thanks SO much everybody! I feel very encouraged to know that this is normal. I'll stay diligent with my log and be more patient with myself!! I hadn't even considered that I was overestimating my burn. I've been pretty spot on with my calories (I log them from my phone wherever I am, even condiments, and I use measuring cups).

BTW, mars, I was a huge biggest loser fan... but it sets some really unrealistic expectations.

Sloooow progress.
Hey all, I've adopted a new healthy lifestyle about 12 days ago, and I've made very little measureable progress on the scale! My weight fluctuates every morning, but it still comes down to a pound or less in weight loss. Isn't a pound a week rather slow? I feel like my deficit is big enough for 2-3. Any advice to speed things up (I have a history of yo-yoing so I've been afraid to go too drastic)?

I eat 1300-1400 calories and do 20 minutes of circuit training + 20 minutes on the elliptical or stationary bike. I'm 5' 4", 21 years old and 160lbs as of today.
