I am married to a wonderful man and the mother of 2 beautiful children. I turned 30 in 2010 (weighing 252lbs) and decided I was tired of being fat. I work full time and sitting at a desk all day enabled me to be lazy. Now I'm trying to educate myself and make a lifestyle change. I know it will not happen overnight, but slowly I will get there.

my end goal will be under 154, but for now I will be happy moving down into each category.

BMI Classification from http://www.bmi-calculator.net
18.5 or less Underweight = -115 lbs
18.5 to 24.99 Normal Weight = 116-154 lbs
25 to 29.99 Overweight = 155-185 lbs
30 to 34.99 Obesity (Class 1) = 186-216 lbs
35 to 39.99 Obesity (Class 2) = 217-246 lbs
40 or greater Morbid Obesity = 247+ lbs

1/2/2014 - Finally setup my treadmill desk and walking 8 hours a day!

How do I remove a journal entry ?
If you click on my fatsecret up at the top then go to my journal over on the right side. This will show a list of all your journal entries. Scroll down to the one you want to remove. Don't click on it. Over to the side under what you typed is remove. You can't remove weight entries but you can delete what you typed.

Arm workouts for someone with carpal tunnel
I'm at a computer all day. Tho I don't have carpal tunnel my wrists & hands get numb & achy sometimes. A few years ago I started using hand grips to strengthen them. It really does seems to help. I do it maybe once or twice a week, more if they are bothering me. I don't know if that would help in your case, but maybe if you can strengthen your tendons they won't flair up as bad.
My only other suggestion would be light free weights. Then slowly move heavier as you feel comfortable.

Mexican foods

Gkcfm95, what is NC's without tortilla wrap?

Since it's almost impossible to get nutrition info from most restaurants I estimate it by what's on my plate. You'll have to adjust this for what your restaurant serves, but mine usually looks like 4oz chicken, 1/2 lg tomato, onion & bell pepper. I also add 1 Tbsp of veg oil, since I assume they added some kind of fat to cook it all.
Using the food diary on here that comes out to
cals: 309kcal | fat: 15.39g | carbs: 14.95g | prot: 28.38g Fiber 3.5g and NC 11.45g

most of the carbs are from the onions

Mexican foods
I usually get fajitas, my local restaurant serves it in a skillet. just meat, peppers, onions & tomatoes (all Atkins safe) with tortillas on the side. skip the tortillas and any rice, beans and chips.
