Hi all!!
I was always a big girl, elementary and middle school. In high school I joined Cheerleading and that brought me to my lowest weight ever, 150 lbs. Then emotions and hormones kicked in full force and I quit cheerleading and ate my feelings. before graduating high school I was at 235 lbs. By then end of College in 2004 I was 275 lbs. beginning of 2005 is when I decided to change. I was 21, obese, and in severe trouble. I changed my diet, drank lots of water, and walked an hour a day. that shed the pounds, after two years I was bouncing around 200-215. I wanted to lose more although I was happy with my achievements. I seen that there was more room for improvement, but the partner I was with at the time was very unsupportive. We broke up and I ate my emotions once again. I gave my head a shake and realized if I want to be happy, its going to be up to only me. I worked hard over the past year and now am bouncing between 170-190.
I am so thankful for the calorie counter it certainly has helped me record and see my recent changes. I can figure out what is going to work to burn vs. intake of calories and other components.
My goal is 135 and with all honesty I hope to be there before the end of 2009. Thats roughly 50 lbs! But I will be happy with 150. Understanding that there are always going to be days of failure, whether it be because of not eating right or not getting your regular workout in.
Everyone needs help and support and I hope to give and receive!

I use the Wii fit and the Ab chair on a regular basis. I have no medical problems but due to my obesity I had trouble starting. I started at 275 about 4 years ago, and have been bouncing around 170-190 in the past 2 years, thats when I decided to take it on for serious, and start a workout regime. I am fairly fresh in my journey, Thanks to the tools here I better understand my food intake, but I am still unsure of balancing it all ie: fat, protien, carbs, etc. I am kinda clueless, any free site suggestions or links I should go to? All I am finding are diets and calorie counting. I wish all of you the best of luck. It's only up to you to do what you need. Nobody else can do it for you, but we can all be here to support! Smile
