I am a married 39 year old mother of one. My moment of truth came to be when I was pushing out of my fat jeans and I dreaded going to the store and see what size I need now. Let alone the fact it winded me to do so. So, I stepped on the scale to see where I was at. I was about to hit 200lbs (198-practically there). Then I remembered I turn 40 this year. I decided then that I was not going to turn 40 and over 200lbs! The only one I can do anything about is the weight. That was on Jan 5,2011. I am now working on a better way of eating, a better way of living, and a better me. With the support of my family, friends, and this website, so far so good!

LOOKING FOR IDEAS
I need to up my calories by 300 and my carbs around 5. Does anyone have any ideas? I have been adding low carb ice cream, but I would like to cut that out for a while and see if my weight drops. My mind keeps going back to the ice cream because it is already in my freezer. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
