I've spent the majority of my life being significantly underweight; I'm only 27 so that 'life' isn't all that long. At 5'7", I'd always been skin and bones, hitting 100-105lbs on good days. Not intentional at all, but undiagnosed health issues kept me skeletal. Around age 21-22 I got diagnosed and ta-da! Like magic within a month I was at a 'normal' (skinny side for most, for me it was great!) 125-130lbs.
After misusing alcohol for 2 years, I'm at 150. While that's not very heavy by any means, it is more than I'd like. So, I'm hoping to get back down to what I was when I felt my best. It's surprising how just a few years of horrible diet and no exercise can make was used to be easy seem like such a challenege.
