Hello everyone, I'm a 41 year old Husband and father of two. My A1C was an 8 and my Dr. told me I have Diabetes Sep 2017.. My Weight was 327# at the time. I have been on a Keto diet plan of 4%carb 75%fat 21%protein since then.. My glucose levels have been close to normal and I'm losing weight. I feel so much better without the insulin spikes that eating carbs gave me. After I would eat a meal containing carb rich foods like bread and sugars. An hour after I couldn't keep me eyes open.. I was tired all the time, but extremely so after eating. Without fail only 3 hours after eating I was hungry again. I blame insulin and insulin resistance for that. Since changing LCHF diet I feel much better over all after eating I'm not tired at all.. Infact I have considerable more energy all day. Hunger is never as sharp as it was when eating carbs..
