Hi Carbs
I can tell you that body type has a lot to do with it. When I was in college, I spent every day working out at the gym. I did Cardio and weights. I also kept a spreadsheet of my food intake. I am 5' 0" tall. The lightest I've ever been as an adult was 111 lbs. I had 16% body fat at the time. I naturally have a thicker build. But according to the "charts" I could have been as low as 95 and not been underweight. There is no way I could have ever achieved that. Perhaps it is time to focus on body composition and stop paying attention on the number on the scale.
