Gym Apps
Thank you, ladies!

I was thinking more along the lines of an app for my phone. I want it to be able to do something like---shoulder press, X pounds, X reps, X sets. It would replace pen and paper that gyms typically have to track your weights.

Gym Apps
I was wondering if anyone has any good recommendations for an app to keep track of activities done at the gym---both cardio and weight machines. I don't need something to show me how to do exercises, just something so that I can remember how much weight I used, how many reps, or time/level/elevation settings on the treadmill.

Thanks in advance for the help!

Quick, easy, healthy breakfast ideas
Hello!

I'm the kind of person that is always running late in the morning and thus I don't have time to cook a healthy breakfast and then I just grab random things or - gasp - I stop at a fast food joint on the way to work. Does anyone have ideas for breakfast for the morning impaired?

How do you know you're moving in the right direction?
Another thing I've noticed---and it may be in the realm of TMI---but now that I've been eating better I'm a lot more "regular". It may be gross, but at least my body is functioning better!

Rjenkins- thanks for the link!

How do you know you're moving in the right direction?
I don't know about you all but I have had my eyes glued to the scale since I've started this process. I'm excited about every tenth of a pound lost and angry about every tenth gained.

I've been trying to look beyond the scale for encouragement. So...here are the things that I have noticed that are letting me know that even if the scale doesn't always have the best news for me that I'm still making progress:

1. I'm feeling muscles growing instead of flab
2. My clothes are starting to be a bit looser
3. I'm able to lift heavier weights and do cardio for longer periods of time
4. I have to work harder to get my heart rate up when I do cardio. That means that my heart is actually getting healthier! How cool is that?!?

How do you know you're moving in the right direction?
