If you like weight watchers so much then you shouldnt have a problem paying for it. Stop complaining.

What's wrong with complaining? I'm a paying WW member and I loved the scanner feature on my Droid and used FS to track my points. FS exists due to the users. The people that run FS have an interest in giving the users what they want or the users will go else where. When a major feature of FS was taken away, shouldn't the users have let FS know the feature is important to them?

The WW points calculation is (Cal/50)+(Fat/12)-(Fiber/5). Here is the excel formula too.
=ROUND((B1/50)+(B2/12)-(IF(B3>4,4,B3)/5),0)

If you need to eat more fiber, eat more fiber! Why do you need points to do that? The fiber content is listed right here on Fat Secret and on nutritional labels. For Free.

Is this really rocket science? It seems incredibly obvious to me. I know points are what you're used to. But if you think WW is some kind of magic miracle, maybe you should give them some money for developing such a wonderful program!

I'm just sayin... I know I'm in for a lot of flaming today Smile

k8yk, you make a great argument but I disagree with a few of your points (pun intended Very Happy ). I've done every diet under the sun, including calorie counting. I've lost and gained hundreds of pounds. I find WW to be a program that works for me. I can easily manage points and I find calorie counting to be more cumbersome. As other have noted it is an "easy" way to eat lower fat higher fiber foods.
I'm a paying WW member. For me and thousands of other people, WW works for us. If I went to the car dealer to buy a blue Mustang and all they had was red, I'd shop else where. Same thing with WW. Regardless of the motivation some people like the WW points end of story. As for paying to loose weight, WW offers much more than just the point system. Even if people are "stealing" the program on this website, they are not getting the real "product" WW is selling...support, motivation, and knowledge. Also, when you reach goal weight WW is FREE!
If WW points are not restored on fatsecret, I'll be moving to SparkPeople. Way better website but no WW points.
That said no disrespect to you. You have ever right to comment as I do.
