I'm 40 yrs old and just had my 4th child. Before I got pregnant I had lost 25lbs on the Atkins diet. I was so committed and it was the best diet I had ever tried. I loved it. I quit when I got pregnant and now I have lost the desire to do much of anything, but I really need to lose 50 lbs. I can't afford the Atkins diet now, no-one in my family will commit to eating that way. So, I'm just gonna have to try something else.

Why Am I Still Hungry?
Are you eating healthy snacks in between meals? That is what really helps me, and it helps to maintain healthy sugar levels and boost metabolism. My Dr has me on 1500-1600 cals per day and it is spread out like this 350-150-400-150-400-150. At first I was hungry, but after 2 weeks I started to get used to it. Now I struggle to get enough calories! I always eat a high protein breakfast, and I eat a lot of fiber. I hope this helps a little. Hang in there!
