Entering foods in to data base.
It is an in-house commercially baked pizza from a chain and the only information is callories, no other information was on it apart from serving suggestion, ie, 1/2 pizza = which you can work out, my question is FS need the other information or you can't save and enter it to the data base, not all foods have this and although it is law to be there, there must be loopholes being exploited.

Entering foods in to data base.
Hello knowledgeable people, I have been trying to enter a meal food (Pizza) that I ate into the data base, apart from the description, calories and weight, there is no information about nutritional stuff, so FS wont let you add it without these numbers, I have set them to 0 so it would go.
Is there a way to do this without this information, home made meals for example, how do you know what to put.
There is a lot of food out there that don't all give the nutritional info, so how can it be saved without this information to hand.

Symbol on diet callender.
I have just noticed a symbol has appeared on my daily intake calendar, an amber spot.

What does this spot mean, i've only just noticed it but it goes back to the beginning of the month.

can you really eat what you want as long as your in a calorie deficit?
I suppose it's more a case of each to their own, I am pretty much eating what I like and I am losing weight albeit quite slowly, I don't do any extra exercise any more than my normal daily activities but I am still losing, If I factored in some exersize I would lose more weight more quickly but I'm in no hurry, it's more of an education into a better healthy eating regime and sticking with it.
My deficit when I first started was far too high and initially i lost quickly but soon went into plateau for some considerable time, I played around with the numbers from another calculator and now think it is more realistic to have between 500 and 1000 deficit.
As regards to the original question of can you eat what you like so long as you maintain a deficit, I would say definitely yes, for example, people who are in hospital eat without any exercise and lose weight, who exercises in hospital, a month on hospital food and you would come out a couple of stone lighter.

Am I doing this right.
Well after being stuck at the same weight for nearly two months i have recorded a weight loss this morning of 3 kilos, I don't know how it's happened but it just has, feels good to see the loss i must say and given the boost i needed to not give up trying.
Whether it is because i have been getting over my RDI a few times recently i don't know, but it certainly makes the hard work worthwhile.
