Do you record EVERYTHING you do all day long?
So I saw on someone's journal today about all of their exercising, and it was racked up to almost 4,000! Of course I had to be nosey and find out what exercising could possibly burn THAT MANY calories, and to my surprise, there were only 2 "real" exercises listed. The majority of all the calorie burning came from everyday tasks that they had listed: sitting, standing...you get my drift. So it got me to thinking: if I naturally burn 1,500 calories a day--does that ONLY include me laying down or something?? Do I, in fact, burn way more calories per day because I, too, sit and stand, as well as cart laundry up and down two flights of stairs almost on a daily basis, as well as cook dinner, as well as massage my boyfriend umpteen times a day coz his back is just "in sooooo much pain"???

So I guess just a curious little poll: do YOU record every single tiny insignificant thing you do everyday???

And...should I?

Never hungry anymore?
I already know that my "basal metabolic rate" or whatever its called is over 1,500. So, I know theoretically I should be eating at least 1,500 calories per day just to sustain my muscle mass. To sustain my current weight, I have to eat almost 2,500 calories--so anything between 1,500 and 2,500 and I would still theoretically be losing weight. Those numbers, of course, don't include the extra exercising and calorie burning that I do on a daily basis.

So basically, yes, I've been very bad, and I'm DEFINITELY feeling it. But I'm honestly not doing it on purpose. I tried real hard this morning and ate a "decent" breakfast. Lots of protein: two turkey sausage links, seven wheat thins, 1/4 cup of cottage cheese, and a decent sized banana. And I am stuuuuuuffed. To the point I feel like I might be sick. This sucks you guys.

It's kind of karmically comical. I was always one of those binge eaters, snackers, ate just to eat. Just because I had a taste for something. And the cravings oooooh I always had the WORST cravings. Now I've done a complete 180. Ate too much before, eating way too little now. Isn't there ever a happy-medium in life?? BAH!!

Never hungry anymore?
But how can I be starving if I'm not hungry?

Boneless Pork Ribs - Low Carb Recipe?
Well I dunno if I have to be LOW LOW carb, but I was recommended to have only 100g of carbs per day. I think it was this: 1500 calories, 100g of carbs, 40g of fats, and 180g of protein. I think he's making me eat so much protein to make my body do that "ketosis" thing. So I guess I don't really mind carbs, so long as they're...not gonna make me fat....er?

To Cheat Day or Not to Cheat Day?
My bf is a big fan of cheat days. Here's my take on it:

Go ahead, because when you sit down to have that cheat meal, chances are you aren't going to eat 10 billion calories. I had my cheat day and surprisingly still couldn't even reach my RDI.

The only drawback for me was...I didn't even really enjoy it, you know? Like, the way my body felt afterwards was really sucky, because I'm not used to eating shit food anymore. So maybe if you want a cheat day, have it be something that you REALLY love... Like caramel chocolate ice cream cones YUMMMMMMMM HUH?? Razz

But lets be realistic, is ONE cheat day a week really going to ruin 6 other days of HARD WORK? Pfffft, no. Duh. You just gotta be strong and make it that ONE cheat day. And you'll probably feel so guilty afterwards that you'll need another 6 days to work up the courage again to be naughty!

God...caramel chocolate ice cream cone.....UGHHHHHHHHHH WHY DO YOU HAVE TO BE UNHEALTHY?!?!?
