dieting and illness
Hiya
Right, sorry about the long and involved blurb incoming, just don't think I can explain it well shortened.
I'm on the contraceptive implant, about 18 months ago I started to get constant bleeding so the replaced it (as it only had 6 months to go), I was fine for maybe a month, then I got postcoital bleeding (apparently something to do with womb contraction), went to the docs, they gave me a clamydia test, candida test and vaginosis test and looked at my cervix, all came up with nothing. Since then they have tried me on 2 types of pill and during this time I've put on at least 20lbs! I get lots of migraines, very painful cramps, painful spotting all irregular, nausea and sometimes ravenous hunger.
Just as I started the diet I started bleeding, 4th day in, if anything the pain is worse than normal, I feel really ill, I intend to go back to the doctor, I'm sick of this!
But the problem is I was just soooo hungry tonight, I had pizza, so I've overeaten by quite a lot... I guess I just want to know I'm not alone with feeling weak (and eating) when feeling so ill... I know I may not lose this week but I refuse to give up! Before all this I was between 126lbs and 132lbsish. I feel so powerless, why is it so difficult to get accross to docs that gyne issues are actually bad!? Don't mean to put down the nhs but for some things they can be a bit useless (can't get to a gynecologist til my GP refers me). On top of this I have mild MS right now I can hardly sit upright, let alone go excersize!
Sorry for my first forum message being so down!
