Fitbit has an open API
For anyone that likes to see foods sync from fat secret to fitbit, I doubt that will ever happen. We have created some basic sync functionality on
www.syncmetrics.com
to sync weight data but syncing food data is a whole other can of worms. The databases are so different that we would have to basically create a new food on Fitbit for every food that exists in fat secret and probably would have to do that for every user separately, that would be a huge amount of extra data and would cause more problems than it would do good. We'd love to build some kind of integration using our syncmetrics.com service but at the moment it's not a doable project.

Goal184, thanks for the feedback. We are working on some additional documentation but as with everything it's time consuming and we provide these services for free for thousands of users today!
Just to be clear, we are only syncing your weight data from Fitbit, Withings or Ihealth to FatSecret we don't provide any other sync services for FatSecret.
