Hello everyone, just wanted to say that I am looking foward to getting started back on my fatsecret.
I went off of my diet at the end of aug. this year because I have had so much going on in my life that I couldn't find the time to log in like I should have. I am changing that today! I have alot of weight to get rid of and I am looking foward to getting myself back on the wagon.;)

Starting over yet again
I could give all kinds of reasons to why I haven't logged on but the only one that matters is I have been...LAZY!! I went to the dr. and had some test done. Hope that the results aren't too bad. Anyway, here I go again. I have seen that alot of you guys have done a wonderful job at sticking with your diets and it seems that as long as I was logging in everyday, and posting my daily activities I did pretty well myself. Well I am going to try to stick with it this time. I could use all of the help that I can get. Zumba starts tonight.

Rheumatoid Arthritis question
Thank you Mariosmom, she has been really upset these past couple of months because of the what if's with the test. Barb called me a couple of hours ago from her job and told me that her RA level is 551.4. She said that the normal range is 0.0-14, so she is beside herself right now.

She is a RN and she is worried that she may not be able to perform her duties at work. She is 46 years old and is a smoker. Would it help her any if she didn't smoke or does that even matter? I wish that I could help her but I really don't know what to say or do for her.

Thanks again for the information. I will be saying a prayer for her tonight and hope that the dr. she chose will help her out with the meds.

She also said that she is bruising very easy, is that normal for someone with RA.

Rheumatoid Arthritis question
Can anyone tell me if Rheumatoid Arthritis causes weightloss? The reason I am asking is someone told me today that she found out that she has RA and that is what caused her rapid weightloss. I don't know anything about RA, I did read a couple of articles about it and it says that RA can make it harder to loose weight. I am confused.

Does anyone out there have RA and if so could you tell me what effects it has on weight?
