The start of being in control
On Monday I will be signing up for the 10K Hyper Shred Transformation Callenge and I am very excited. I am hoping this will get me out of my funk and yo-yo. Within the last year I have been feeling a little out of control and sadly have been getting into the early stages of an eating disorder. So, this Challenge is not just about me getting into shape but its about getting healthy and getting in control of my life.

This Challege is at a good time in my life too. I will be graduating from school in March and will have all summer to work on getting control and developing habitual habits so when I start my Graduate school in the fall I won't have to work twice as hard to get those habits to stick. They will already be there. I have been resently struggling with PMDD, which has thrown me for a loop of relearning my body and how it reacts to food and life. I am currently getting that under some control but from the research that I have done I need to realy watch what I eat and working out regularly.

I am not really starting from know where since if have been working out on a regular bases and have found a new passion I never had before, running. Last year I ran two half-marathons and I am planing on getting two more in this year and possible get a mini-triathalon in there as well.

My main struggle has been food. I just love food and sometime I just can't resist it and it doesn't matter what kind of food. I don't drink soda or eat at fast food places so I have that but I know that still eating out (no matter where) is just as bad and sometimes its hard. It's the hardest on the weekends when I see friends and family and I just want to escape from the lonelyness and work of the week. I travel alot on the weekends so sometimes eating out is much more appealing then eating healthy snacks that I have pre-packed. I hope that this transformation helps me get through this out of control life that seems to have side swipped me.

Like I said at the beganing, this Transformation is not just about me getting into shape but about me getting into control of my life I once had. So now on the Transformation. I am planning on blogging everyday about how it's going that day but don't be mad if I may miss a few days here or there I still have a life, even if it is out of control. I will be tracking my food and exercise on FatSectret (member bml306, if you want to see what and how exactly I am doing) but I will post my over all's. I will also be posting on BB my measerments once a week. Looking forward to taking real control and I do wish everyone good luck with their goals and dreams.
