I have been struggling with keeping weight off and losing it for the longest time. When Im active i lose weight fast but its only because i HAVE to be active for a particular reason...usually something to do with work or something that someone else expects me to do etc etc.. i never lose weight just on my own. So Im motivation challenged you could say.

i was slim when i was in my early 20's but now.. i am almost 40 lbs overweight and im desperate to lose it.

Ive tried everything, nothing short of exercise works. Unfortunately!

Im not lazy, just that i have to be at my laptop ALL DAY. Im a graphic designer so my desk is the only place im at, other than walking my dog and housework.

i heard that tracking foods i eat can be a huge help to losing weight. i just hope i can lose the weight i need to lose.

Are We Just Banging Our Heads Against The Wall?
i have put on 40lbs in the past 5 years. I have always been a chunky person, but there was ONE section of my life when i was a size 8 and that was when i was in college, i ran for the bus and subway train and walked for a long time really fast to catch my ride and that was everyday, twice a day for 4 years. I dropped the weight SO FAST and i mean, it wasnt a bad thing. i was slim and i just thought i would always be that way and then before i knew it , college was over, and my desk job started and here i am now just frustrated with myself.

i think for me, it was because i stopped the physical 'exercise' suddenly and didnt keep it up. all those years i was slim, i didnt make any changes to my food habits, i ate what i wanted and it wasnt all healthy!!

so yeah... i think its a constant struggle with most women. The ones who are skinny and looking great, i guarantee you they either pour tons of money into trainers or food systems or they just have...good genes. Sad
