I am 34 years old, a registered nurse, and I have recently quit smoking. I have always been conciencious about my weight. I love food! Generally high calorie carbs like the rest of the world! I hate to exercise. I was recently married and I am currently trying to get the both of us eating healthier and improved portion sizes.

The calories out doesn't seem to make sense...
There is another website called weightlossforlife.com that I used to calculate my BMR. Keep in mind BMR is different than BMI. I find it helpful. Hope you do too Smile

Weekends... when I have too much fun and overindulge... on everything
I just came back from great vacation and it was a killer to behave! I had great meals but tried very hard to keep the bread baskets to a minimum and I did not have ice cream and cheesecakes! That is about all you can do. Make good choices, salads and step up exercise if able to on the weekends and vacations do crunches and leg lifts.

The calories out doesn't seem to make sense...
Every diet plan and website you read will say something different and you will also notice that the calories on this website are a little different than other books, websites, etc. Its all about what works for you. Reducing your calorie consumption from what you normally do will always help. This website tells me I should be consuming 2300 to lose weight and I did my BMR with the calculations and I should actually be at 1923 per day. Calculating your BMR is a good way to determine what your should consume to lose.

Mega T Green Tea Pills
To ronbol2958 When you have reached your goal weight how will stay there when you begin eating normal food again? I have thought about slim fast and people tell me it messes w/ your metabolism and weight will come on again when you begin eating normal food. Even small quantities.
