Type 2 diabetic. Doctor said I have to lose 30 pounds. I would like to lose 36!

I plan to do this with
a. Low-ish carb diet(100g max per day).
b. Thirty minute workouts every weekday.
c. Take medication until glucose dumping by the liver is under control.

Current: September 1/15: 141 pounds
Goal : December 1/15 : 110 pounds
Wish : December 1/15 : 104 pounds

I would not worry about it too much if your carbs are coming from vegetables (specifically non-root veges). If you search Dr. Diet, he gives you an idea of 30g carbs per day. And, that's a table full. I don't think anyone eats 30g carby vegetables per day.
