one day to rest/splurge?
my husband is always saying that he's always heard free days are a good thing to have, but i'm incredibly leery of doing it myself. however, this past sunday i did give myself a little leeway. i think, overall, it was a good choice because i was very strict ALL week. i ended up having a piece of chocolate cake and i was glad i did for two reasons. first of all, it was WAY too sweet. second, had i not had i would have been more likely to make a more rash and horrible choice down the road.

overall, i was still pretty conservative. i didn't get crazy with the idea of a "free day" or anything, i just relaxed a little bit to prove to myself i could do it and not go insane!

Anyone need to lose over 100LBS???
Don't feel alone at all! I need to lose 114 pounds to be at my goal weight. I am doing my own diet, for now, but will probably be joining Weight Watchers because my friends and mother LOVE it.

Don't feel overwhelmed. It does take time and effort, but in the end it's so worth it!

newbie with PCOS
I'm curious to know if there are any "cysters" around here and what diet you are following. are you trying to do diabetic-friendly eating?

I am currently not following a diet, but am trying to change the way I eat food and change my fitness routine.

i have read TONS of books, but all seem to say different things. i'm curious to know the opinions of any other PCOS girls around here.

Also, can you tell me at what point you noticed your metabolism changing?
