Loss of willpower?
Whenever I start mindlessly eating or trying to convince myself that I deserve that cupcake, I take the extra minute to think to myself "is this really worth it? Is it going to taste good enough that feeling guilty and having to loosen my belt a little bit won't matter?" Usually it's not. Then I chew a piece of gum instead. I always find a little logic and a lot of diversion go a long way in replacing willpower.
