I'm ready to take control of my weight for good! I am a Client Services Manager for World Relief- a refugee resettlement agency. My job can be stressful at times, and living a healthy lifestyle is key to dealing with stress. Also, I am really close to finishing school, and when I finish I'll have a lot more time to work on changing my lifestyle. However, I'm not letting that be an excuse! There will always be something going on in my life- so no excuses! Plus, it will be so much easier to watch my weight when I'm out of school if I can learn the habits while I'm still doing school. Last year I was able to stick to a work-out plan for the first six months of the year- longer than ever before. I figure if I can stick to my weight-loss plan for that long this year- I'll have almost all of it off!

Invest in a Wii!
If you want an arm workout, get the Wii Olympics game (it has Mario characters and Sonic characters). When my husband and I first played it- we were drenched in sweat! It even makes my very athletic sixteen-year-old stepson sweat!

Question of the Day 7/23:
I prefer to excercise alone. Like Rascallfats, I have to get in the "zone" for me to really work my body, and it's hard for me to do that when I'm with someone else. If I work out with anyone, it's my boyfriend. He used to be a girl's basketball, volleyball, and softball coach, so he has a good idea of how girls should work out. He gives me lots of tips and pointers to get more out of my workout.

Question of the Day 7/19:
How is this for an oldie- I still love to watch reruns of Boy Meets World. I used to watch it everyday after school when I was kid, and I still love it!

Question of the Day 7/17:
The weekends are the hardest for me to stick on the diet. I eat all my meals with my boyfriend, sleep in (so I usually skip breakfast), and I don't want to cook!

Question of the Day 6/29:
I really look up to rascalfatts because she was my first buddy here, and she is always so upbeat and encouraging. She's lost a lot, and stuck with it for a long time. And of course, all my other buddies here, it's so great to watch other people go through the same thing I am!

My major encouragment comes from my boyfriend. He's been so great, he thinks I'm beautiful no matter what, but wants me to be healthy and happy. He's been so great!
