Hi there! My name is Christine. I've come to realize that I have to truly do this for myself and no one else. I am listening to my body to get into shape and eat the right nutrition. I'm making sure I eat enough protein and healthy fats and keeping my carbs low. This is the plan. Its almost like the Belly Fat diet, but I'm not really doing any math or counting with this diet other than what I input into FatSecret. This is my plan, and so far its working. I'm also 36 years old and my goal is to fit into a size 10 by my birthday in December, which gives me ample amount of time to either hit my goal or surpass my goal of being in a size 10. So far my size 12's are loose! When I reach this goal by my birthday in December, I'm going to a store like BeBe and trying on some clothes that I've not been able to fit into since I was younger!! Also, I do not believe in scales. A scale for me is like that nagging person telling me what I'm putting into my mouth is bad for me. So...no scales. Only listening to my body and loving myself!

My work out regime is: BodyRock.tv, yoga, running, spinning, Pilates, and one or two classes of another workout at the gym like Active, Power, KickBoxing, etc. But the others are what I do on a normal basis and usually at home!

As of July 3, 2012, I see my arms are gaining good definition. My hips are becoming smaller. My thighs are losing inches. My stomach is getting flatter, just not a 6 pack, which I will get by December! My size 12's are very loose on me! And I'm getting super strong. All signs that what I'm doing is working out nicely for me!

Hemp Protein
Thanks for all the information! I've found some things that I'm interested in but I'm going to start with the Hemp Protein I found and then see how that works out for me! I did recently find Hemp Milk and I will check that out next. Now I'm not too worried about taste right now, I've been doing some interesting things lately such as superfood powder. I'm ok with these things if they will be good for me in the long run! Thanks again!!

Pacing yourself when running?
Do you happen to use and application while you run?? I love Map My Run for my phone. And then you can see how fast you are running. I've been running for a very long time. I too would sprint (because I use to be sprinter in grade school and high school) and wonder why I could not do long runs. So breathing is key. Be sure that you are running about a ratio of 4:1 Every 4 steps breathe in and every 4th step breathe out. But breathing is KEY!! If you find that you are losing control of your breath...SLOW DOWN don't walk just slow down and focus on the ratio breathing. Then once you get back to a normal breath focus on running. Now the ratio breathing should be full complete breaths. Also before you start running try to walk very fast for about 5 minutes to get your body moving and the heart rate going. If you have any more questions please send me a message.

leg cramps
Yes if your body is not use to working out you will feel some tender muscles. Stretching, massage, and a foam roller will help muscles. http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Foam_rolling But if you get your body moving again the pain should stop. But let me ask you. What workout schedule like?? I personally try not to focus on the same muscle groups of the ones that I just worked on. KWIM? Sometimes give those tired muscles a nice walk or an easy run this way you are not over working the muscles and then focus muscle work on another part of your body. Hope this helps!!
