I think different diets work differently on different body types because I have lost 20 pounds in two months using the advice I just gave.

Do some research on the internet. Find your BMR. From that number, calculate how few calories you can eat before your body goes into starvation mode. Depending on your CW you could be putting your body into starvation mode, even with 1500 calories. Also, when are you eating? How much are you eating? Scientists say that the body needs between 4-6 small meal a day. I personally eat around 100-200 calories every two hours from 7 am (the time I get up) and 7 pm (its best not to eat after 8 pm). Make sure you are drinking at least 64 oz. of water daily, this will greatly aid in your weight loss. A little trick I like to do is drink 8 oz of water before each small meal. This also helps you feel fuller.
