Hey all. Long time no speak, my apologies. Brief recap: approximately 2 1/2 years ago I reached my goal weight, graduated valedictorian of a nursing program, bought a house and landed a great job at a pediatric office. 10 months later I was blessed with a beautiful second son, and was hit with crippling post partum depression. To add insult to injury there was a severe blow to my marriage. I was on a slew of different meds for the depression, and anyone who has been on antipsychotics can tell you weight gain is a disgusting side effect. I gained forty pounds in two months on one med! The depression has passed, the marital issues continue to be problematic. I am trying to find my fire and reclaim my life. I worked wo hard to build the life I wanted only for a large portion of it to come crumbling down around me. It is what it is now. And the weight... it's disgusting. I have spent a lot of time beating myself down about it and its gotten me absolutely nowhere so I guess it's time to go back to what did work, and that's journaling and finding some support. I guess if I can lose over 100lbs once, I can do it again. Its disheartening that I have to though.

Most recently I worked in an Orthopedic practice for 2 years but ultimately left due to poor treatment from the big boss guy. I am enrolled into an RN program starting January 2020. Time for a fresh start.
