I know how lucky I am to have an amazing husband and two beautiful sons, and I don't want to take them for granted by treating my body like crap and checking out early, or by failing to show them how much they mean to me.

My own personal reasons to make a better life:

* To be able to ride coaster with my young sons, and know they'll be safe sharing a lap lever with me.

* To feel better physically.

* To be proud of myself for my determination, follow-through and dedication.

* To look good at weddings.

* To feel sexy again.

* To live as long as possible, and share that time with my family.

* To slow-down Diabetes, and to avoid medication for as long as possible.

* To avoid knee and hip replacements down the line. To avoid back problems.

* To love my body more, and not hate looking in the mirror.

* To feel strong again, in every way.

Goes to reason -- our fingers and hands get thinner, so will our feet! I can't imagine my fat-feet on the slim-body I'm aiming for!! Smile

low calorie shopping list
High-fiber, low-carb wraps are great. I make a wrap at lunch with 1 c. of spinach, 1 TBS of olive-oil reduced fat mayo, 3 slices deli turkey, onion, tomato, black olives, mild banana peppers, cilantro, s&p, and my blood sugar reads below 100. I have it with 1/2 a cup of skim milk, and 2 mugs of green tea.
