SOS!! Cheese emergency!
My husband and I debate the whole wet/dry thing. Well, no we don't. He tells me I'm wrong and I say whatever and use my liquid measure anyway. LOL!

I never know what to do in a recipe when they say "Swiss cheese, shredded," I am going to assume you take the indicated amount of cheese (3/4 cup = 6 oz) then shred it. Grammatically, that is what the recipe is telling me to do. If they want me to use 3/4c of "shredded Swiss cheese," then you must say it! I'm a cheese-a-holic, don't give me a reason to over-indulge! ;D LOL!!

SOS!! Cheese emergency!
I'm trying to make a cordon bleu casserole... 6 oz had too much fat and 2 oz didn't look like enough, so I'm splitting the difference and going with 4 oz. Very Happy

I would think 6 oz, too, but I'm afraid maybe that's part of "the problem." LOL!

SOS!! Cheese emergency!
I love cheese but hate cooking with it.

Does the recipe mean what it says, "3/4 cup of cheese, shredded" (which means 6 ounces to me) OR do they really mean 3/4 cup shredded cheese which look more like 2 ounces? Doubt Question
