Wow @shmiller. You finished with an injured knee?! That's impressive.
I can only imagine your fears about having to abstain from your regular exercising. I'm surprised by the no-swimming-at-all rule. Can't they brace it or something so you can swim? Well, I'm sure you have asked.
Looking forward to hearing people's suggestions.

Tastes so much more satisfying too. My garden is a nutrition godsend.

The "Downsides" to Eating Healthier
I always feel so hungry in Fall to keep warm. 1 Solution = a Scarf. Then I don't get those urges to go into the kitchen to eat/drink to warm me up.
Last year I started wearing scarves as style/fashion, but found that it helped me keep warm. I usually get a kink in my neck about October (northern USA) from scrunchin up to keep warm and don't relax until spring. The warm scarf really helps while working at my desk or even in kitchen. So easy to take on and off as necessary. I think it works because of all your major arteries in your neck to the head.
