Jan 2021...age 61...lost 48lb in 2020 through high quality foods and mega calorie burning amounts of exercise. Now maintaining a 30lb loss and BMI in high 25s. Gotta get back to my 24.0 BMI.

Jan 2020...age 60...I have gained 45 pounds during the past 6 years while coping with several life stressors: a special needs adult son, a long daily commute, and addressing my mental health concerns for the first time in my life. My goal is to learn to like myself for who I am and believe that I am worthy of happiness in life. At the same time, I would like to lose 43 pounds, lower my BMI from 29.5 to 24.0, and lower my total cholesterol and a1C levels.

How Often Do you weigh yourself?
I weigh on Sunday mornings after I get up and use the restroom. I don't think weighing often is good. There are too many opportunities for up and downs....once a week is plenty....but at a consistent time with like conditions. And...I have decided that whatever the scale says indicates it is what it is. I can weigh again in 7 days.
