PMS - how do you stay on track at this time of the month?
Ajan9500 wrote:
Yes I experience the weight gain the week before my period also and I don't go over my calorie intake but I usually lose the weight and a little more the following week if I stay on track with my eating habits.

Same here.

When is Enough Enough
Looking at her post, that first photo I don't people realize how many of these ads are photo shopped these days. Almost all of them are, when the skin starts looking too smooth like that, it's been photo shopped big time. Most magazines covers are PS'd to the point that the people don't even look real.

What do you tell people who ask how much have you lost?
I tell them how much I lost and that I want to lose more because first off they already know I was heavy otherwise they would not have noticed I lost. I even tell them if they ask how high I hit, no I am not proud of it but I am proud that I have lost 45 pounds and kept that off so far. Most of the time they ask how I did it because most want to lose weight too.

This is Ridiculous!
Two things, eat at least 1200 calories daily because going below that will cause your body to hold on to weight because it thinks you are starving yourself. Second thing is track every day don't exclude the weekends because this can cause all sorts of issues. One thing is your body probably holding on to all those calories because during the week your not feeding it enough. Eat fruit, veggies, lean meat and protein is a good thing so use it to your advantage.

Mental Diet
It's all about balance, something that is hard to learn sometimes but once you decide you are going to change your life, balance will be the key. Like others have said, if you decide to have cookies, or a hamburger or ice cream, track it and adjust the rest of your day around it. Don't lie to yourself about what you are eating, track everything! When I first started this journey I already thought I was making better choices in food, but found I was not. So learn about what you are eating and how much exercise it will take to work that off. For example, walking at a moderate pace you can burn about 100 calories every 15 minutes. So that candy bar that was calling your name, just cost you 300 calories out of your 1500 calories for the day and will take 45 minutes of walking to burn it off. For that same 300 calories I can have a full meal with less fat, less sugar and more protein. You are in control, not your cravings, not your habits but you and it's time for you to become the best you, be strong, be determine, and set suitable goals!
