I am 46 years old with a daughter in college and a daughter in junior high. My husband is partially disabled and is still trying to get over 2 back surgeries from last year. Last year (2008) was an exhausting year. This year I was diagnosed with severe hypertension (wonder why). I have fibromyalgia and work in front of the computer everyday. I live in south Mississippi where the humidity is a hindrance sometimes. I am active in our church and do some volunteer work. I have gone from being a pear shape as a young adult to being an apple. (Probably from lack of sleep, lack of strenuous exercise, and plenty of stress)

I am grateful for my family and they are all trying to grow up and become less dependent on me now that they realize that my health is suffering. God has been good to me and I am counting on Him to help me get better.

Detox?
In March I went on the Michael Thurmond Six Week Body Makeover eating plan. It is very restrictive and sort of de-toxes your body. By eliminating salt, sugar, fats, white flour, and dairy you more or less wind up with water, fruits, vegetables, lean proteins and complex carbs. If you are not already eating this way, making the change from processed to whole and fresh will put your body through a gentle de-tox without the going through a colon cleanse. You will need to drink lots of water and take an omega-3 supplement to keep things regular. Best wishes.

Cheerios Is A Drug
I believe that this has happened to other very good nutritional products and foods in the past. Companies have to be careful how they advertise.

439kcal!?! Really?
You might research other sites and figure how many calories you would burn if you slept all day and then compare to here. I did that and found about a 500 calorie difference.(I don't remember the site, sorry.) So when it looks like I have a 1000 calorie deficit, I realize that it could only be a 500 calorie deficit, which is what I am aiming for anyway.

Points of olive oil
That is probably correct. I don't do WW now, but have in the past. The eating plan I am on now does not even allow olive oil in the reduction phase, just in maintenance later. It recommends lemon juice or balsamic vinegar (just a spritz) to dress your salads. If you have to have olive oil, you might try an olive oil spray to lightly spritz your salad. You'll be using less oil, so less points. Best wishes.
