It's hard to write about me. I'm not good at finishing things, but if I have others that are counting on me I do much better. I'm in my late 20s and training to run a 25K in May. I hope to finish a half marathon this March followed by a full marathon this fall. I lead an active lifestyle and have always eaten healthy, but I have an extra 10 pounds that I've had a hard time losing. I want to start having kids in the next year or two but want to be in the best shape possible to make future years more enjoyable.

P90x is it worth the money?
I bought P90x hoping to pair it up with my running workouts, but I'm having a hard time doing both. Like others have said, it takes a lot of time to follow the program - but if you're willing to make time it seems to be worth it. I have several friends who've seen good results.

Good Protein shakes? where can I get them?
I really like Aria's protein shakes and I can find them at my grocery store. They market it as Designer Whey for Women:

I don't like the way it tastes with water but really like it with low fat soy milk (or in a smoothy)!

Cool FOR PEANUT BUTTER ADDICTS...LOL! I just tried a product "Better'n Peanut Butter" from Trader Joe's...and it's great. Takes care of my cravings...and compared to other brands...it's not bad on the diet. [2 Tbsps., 100 cal., 2g fat, 13g carbs., 0 cholest., 95mg sodium, 4g protein]

I love "Better'n Peanut Butter" too!!! It's a great alternative when I don't feel like adding an extra half-hour to my workout to burn off the extra calories!

Diet Buddy in MI
I'm also in Michigan and am still running outdoors - would love to have buddies that understand the drive it takes to workout in the winter.

HTC Eris Droid
I actually found the app first and that is what introduced me to this site. I love the barcode scanner too! Very nice.
